The Provost of the Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, Oyefunso Orenuga has demanded attentiveness to a reformative mindset.
Orenuga told them to embrace a reformative mindset that will transform the health sector.
The Provost explained that this would aid in impacting their patients.
Speaking at the 2022 International Nurses Day seminar organized by the college, she spoke on professional excellence.
The seminar which was themed “Psychology of behaviour: Your mindset is everything” was an eye-opener on the importance of a growth mindset.

According to a statement released by the Lagos State Ministry of Information, the guest speaker at the event, Jide Ologun, gave a list of components for a growth mindset.

“Charging nurses, midwives and nurses-in-training to embrace reformative innovations for the transformation of the health sector and Nigeria as a country, Ologun noted that Nightingale became a reformer and trailblazer in the nursing and healthcare sector due to her resolve to make an impact.”

The President of the Student of Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, Martins Ebubeogu, appreciated the provost and management for the impactful seminar.
Ebubeogu urged students to use their knowledge to grow their professions and careers.
