Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 14 states recorded about 230 new cases.
The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported this on Thursday, January 20.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.
Lagos State leads with a record of 115 new cases.
Gombe State follows with a record of 29 confirmed new cases.
The FCT follows with a distant record of 24 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 251, 571.
The total number of deaths is currently 3,117.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 225,850 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.
