Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 14 states and the FCT recorded about 100 new cases.
The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) released this update on Friday, February 4.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.
Lagos State leads with a record of 22 new cases.
Yobe State follows with a record of 18 confirmed new cases.
The FCT follows with a close record of 15 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 253, 505.
The total number of deaths is currently 3,136.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 229,893 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
