COVID-19 In Nigeria: There Were 423 New Confirmed Cases and No New Death Recorded On Thursday, January 13.

In the latest health news in Nigeria, there have been no new additional COVID-19-related deaths in Nigeria. This brings the total number of deaths to 3092.

Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 17 states recorded about 423 new cases.

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported on Friday, January 14.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.

Lagos State leads with a record of 120 new cases.

Rivers State follows with a close record of 118 confirmed new cases.

Anambra State follows with a distant record of 38 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 250, 009.

The total number of deaths is currently 3,092.

Active cases: 25,714.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 221,203 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
