COVID-19 In Nigeria: 26 New Deaths, 165 New Cases
In the latest health news in Nigeria, there has been an increased number of COVID-19 deaths in Nigeria.
The epi-centre of COVID-19 in Nigeria, Lagos State and nine other states recorded about 165 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday, October 25.

A shocking record of 26 COVID-19 related deaths was reported on Monday.
The epi-centre recorded 77 new cases followed by the FCT with 44 new cases. Rivers followed with a distant number of 22 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said the record of 165 new COVID-19 infections has increased the number of infections in the country. Nigeria has now recorded 210,460.
The total number of deaths is currently 2, 882.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 202,379 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

The health agency said the 165 new COVID-19 infections have brought the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 210,460.
Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre activated at Level 2 had coordinated the national response.
