COVID-19 In Nigeria: There Were 1305 New Confirmed Cases And 21 New Deaths On Saturday, December 25.
In the latest health news in Nigeria, there have been 21 new additional COVID-19-related death in Nigeria. The total number of deaths has increased to 3014.
Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 14 states recorded about 1305 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday, December 26.

The record of 26 COVID-19 related deaths reported on October 25 still remains the highest in recent time. However, this new update takes over.
Lagos State leads with a massive record of 705 new cases.
Oyo State follows with a close record of 234 confirmed new cases.
Ondo State follows with a distant record of 88 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 233,353.
The total number of deaths is currently 3, 014.
Active cases:Â 22,803.
However, the NCDC reports a record of 236,014 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre activated at Level 2 had coordinated the national response.
