COVID-19 In Nigeria: There Were 1368 New Confirmed Cases And One New Death On Monday, December 20.
In the latest health news in Nigeria, there has been no new additional COVID-19-related death in Nigeria. The total number of deaths remains 2985.
Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 20 states recorded about 1368 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday, December 21.

The record of 26 COVID-19 related deaths reported on October 25 still remains the highest in recent time.
Lagos State leads with a massive record of 844 new cases. The FCT follows with a distant record of 209 confirmed new cases while Oyo State follows with 58 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 225,255.
The total number of deaths is currently 2, 985.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 211,660 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.
