COVID-19 In Nigeria Update: There Were 228 New Confirmed Cases and No New Deaths Recorded On Sunday, January 23.
In the latest health news in Nigeria, there have been no new additional COVID-19-related deaths in Nigeria. This brings the total number of deaths to 3124.
The FCT recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 14 states recorded about 228 new cases.
The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported this on Monday, January 24.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.
The FCT leads with a record of 110 new cases.
Gombe State follows with a record of 38 confirmed new cases.
Lagos State follows with a close record of 32 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 252, 187.
The total number of deaths is currently 3,124.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 226,408 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.
