COVID-19 In Nigeria: Two New Deaths, 90 New Cases On Monday, November 1.
In the latest health news in Nigeria, there has been an increased number of COVID-19 deaths in Nigeria to 2898.
In the epi-centre, Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases as well as 8 other states recorded about 90 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday, November 2.

A shocking record of 26 COVID-19 related deaths was reported on Monday, October 25. This is the highest in recent time.
Lagos State takes the lead with 33 new cases. The FCT follows with a distant record of 15 new cases. Nasarawa follows with a close record of 14 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said the record of 90 new COVID-19 infections has increased the number of infections in the country. Nigeria has now recorded 212,051.
The total number of deaths is currently 2, 898.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 203,465 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

The health agency said the 90 new COVID-19 infections have brought the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 212,051.
Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre activated at Level 2 had coordinated the national response.
