COVID-19 In Nigeria: There Were 422 New Confirmed Cases And One New Death On Tuesday, January 11.
In the latest health news in Nigeria, there has been one new additional COVID-19-related death in Nigeria. This brings the total number of deaths to 3086.
Rivers State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 15 states recorded about 422 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Wednesday, January 12.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.
Rivers State leads with a record of 178 new cases.
Kwara State follows with a distant record of 87 confirmed new cases.
The FCT follows with a record of 57 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 248, 732.
The total number of deaths is currently 3,086.
Active cases: 25,873.
However, the NCDC reports a record of 220,195 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
