Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 19 states recorded about 1940 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday, December 24.

Lagos State leads with a massive record of 845 new cases.
The FCT follows with a close record of 734 confirmed new cases.
Oyo State follows with a distant record of 120 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 233,353.
The total number of deaths is currently 2, 991.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 212,040 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.
