Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 10 states recorded about 301 new cases.
The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported on Monday, January 17.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.
Lagos State leads with a record of 175 new cases.
Ondo State follows with a close record of 42 confirmed new cases.
Osun State follows with a distant record of 23 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 250, 929.
The total number of deaths is currently 3,103.
Active cases: 23,774.
However, the NCDC reports a record of 224,052 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
