NCDC reports that there are 257 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 in Nigeria.
In this latest health news, the Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of infections with 73 cases. The epi-center of the coronavirus in Nigeria follows with a distance 43 with other 11 states.
The NCDC also reported five COVID-19 related deaths on their website on Thursday.

The new infections have brought the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 208,404.
The agency also reported that 196,123 COVID-19 patients have recovered and have been discharged in the country.
Also, the COVID-19 related have increased to 2,761 with the five new COVID-19 related deaths reported by the NCDC.
Meanwhile, the Federal Government has ordered to take the COVID-19 vaccines.
In the latest health news in Nigeria, the Federal Government has set a deadline for civil servants to collect their vaccines.
The Federal Government would start the no-vaccination-no-work rule from December 1.
The Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) chairman, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this.
Mustapha is also the Secretary General of the Federation (SGF). He spoke of the impact of this rule on civil servants.

At a briefing in Abuja, he said: “With effect from 1st of December, 2021, Federal Government employees shall be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination. They can also present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result done within 72 hours, to gain access to their offices, in all locations within Nigeria and our missions abroad. “An appropriate service-wide advisory/circular will be issued to guide the process,” The Nation reports.
