A group of scientists has revealed one significant and shocking signal that death is near.

The sign is a brief “recall of life” 30 secs before the heart stops beating and a person is declared dead.
This report was obtained from the medical journal Frontier in Aging Neuroscience.
The scientists confirmed this while measuring the brainwaves of an 87-year-old man with epilepsy.
Experts in Vancouver, Canada said that from the neurological recording of the man’s brainwaves, an unexpected recording occurred. This was while he suffered a heart attack.
This recording revealed the man’s brainwaves had the same patterns as dreaming or recalling memories. These dreaming memories occurred 30 seconds before and after the heart attack.
According to the medical journal, brain activities suggest that a final recall of life could happen in the person’s final moments.

A co-author of the study, Dr Ajmal Zemmar confirmed this case to the BBC.
Dr Zemmar said that 30 seconds before the patient’s heart stop beating, his brainwaves followed the pattern of one carrying out full cognitive tasks. This is also the point when blood stops flowing into the heart. These patterns include:

Dr Zemmar said, “This could possibly be the last recall of memories that we’ve experienced in life, and they replay through our brain in the last seconds before we die.
“If I were to jump to the philosophical realm, I would speculate that if the brain did a flashback, it would probably like to remind you of good things, rather than the bad things.
“But, what’s memorable would be different for every person.”
The doctor clarified that no conclusion should be taken from the study. Especially because the epileptic condition of the patient which includes bleeding and swelling of the brain could complicate things.
