Relationship expert Joro Olumofin has stated the real reason why more women are being infected with HIV.
In this latest health news in Nigeria, Olumofin confirmed the claims about the rise of HIV positive females.
The relationship blogger also popularly known as “Love Doctor” said the married women are more infected with the virus these days.
According to Olumofin, husbands infect wives because the women have a syndrome of losing their homes.

He advised women to learn to speak up against an untrustworthy partner. He further lamented on microblogging site Instagram that women should tell their partners to use protection.
Joro Olumofin wrote: “I deal with a lot of HIV+ people searching for love every day. It’s so sad that 70% of them were infected by their partners (Mostly Husbands).
“A lot of women are getting infected with HIV because of “FEAR TO SAY USE PROTECTION & “I MUST KEEP MY HOME SYNDROME
“Wives/Ladies if you don’t trust your BF/HUSBANDS PLEASE DEMAND he uses protection. If demanding protection will lead to the end of your marriage, then SO BE IT.”
In another report, obtained from Premium Times, there is a rise of HIV positive patients in Nigeria. The number of women infected with the virus is more. These statistics were culled from research between 2016 and 2019.
According to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) women make half the population of people infected with the deadly virus.
The report revealed that the percentage of women with the infection increased in various years.
From 2016; 53.1 per cent.
2017; 55.5 per cent.
2018; 55.83 per cent.
2019; 56.03 per cent.
However, the percentage of the virus has declined in men.

2019; 43.97 per cent.
Meanwhile, there is no update on the status of HIV positive patients in Nigeria between 2020 and 2021.
