COVID-19 In Nigeria Update: There Were 38 New Confirmed Cases and Two New Deaths Recorded On Sunday, February 13.

In the latest health news in Nigeria, there have been two new additional COVID-19-related deaths in Nigeria. The total number of COVID-19 related deaths is now 3141.

Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 7 states recorded about 38 new cases.

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) released this update on Monday, February 14.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.

Lagos State leads with a record of 16 new cases.

The FCT follows with a distant record of 11 confirmed new cases.

Katsina State follows with a close record of 4 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 254, 016.

The total number of deaths is currently 3,141.

Active cases: 20,478.

However, the NCDC reports a record of 230,397 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.

It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre activated at Level 2 had coordinated the national response.
