The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) released this update on Wednesday, February 16.

The record of 21 COVID-19 related deaths reported on December 25, 2021, remains the highest in recent time.
Lagos State leads with a record of 13 new cases.
Kaduna State follows with a close record of 10 confirmed new cases.
Delta State follows with a distant record of 5 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said these new cases increased the number of cases to 254, 124.
The total number of deaths is currently 3,141.
Active cases: 20,493.
However, the NCDC reports a record of 230,472 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.
