In the latest health news in Nigeria, there has been an increased number of COVID-19 deaths in Nigeria to 2906.
Kaduna State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases as well as six other states recorded about 86 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Monday, November 8.

A shocking record of 26 COVID-19 related deaths was reported on Monday, October 25. This is the highest in recent time.
Kaduna State takes the lead with 86 new cases. Lagos State follows with a record of 24 new cases. Osun follows with a distant record of 10 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said the record of 86 new COVID-19 infections has increased the number of infections in the country. Nigeria has now recorded 212,713.
The total number of deaths is currently 2, 906.
Active cases: 5584
However, the NCDC reports a record of 204,223 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

The health agency said the 86 new COVID-19 infections have brought the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 212,713.
Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre activated at Level 2 had coordinated the national response.
