COVID-19 In Nigeria: There Were 1424 New Confirmed Cases And No New Deaths On Wednesday, December 15.
In the latest health news in Nigeria, there have been no new additional COVID-19-related deaths in Nigeria. The total number of deaths remains 2983.
Lagos State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. 15 states recorded about 1424 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday, December 16.

The record of 26 COVID-19 related deaths reported on October 25 still remains the highest in recent time.
Lagos leads with a huge record of 796 new cases. Delta State follows with a distant record of 152 confirmed new cases while FCT follows with 130 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said the record of 1424 new COVID-19 infections increased the number of infections in the country. Nigeria has now recorded 220,020.
The total number of deaths is currently 2,983.
Active cases:Â 5,745.
However, the NCDC reports a record of 211,292 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.
