In the latest health news in Nigeria, there have been eight additional COVID-19- related deaths in Nigeria. The same number was recorded on Tuesday. This has increased the number of COVI-19 related deaths to 2922
Plateau State recorded the highest number of COVID-19 in Nigeria cases. Eight other states recorded about 65 new cases. This was the update released by the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday, November 11.

The record of 26 COVID-19 related deaths reported on October 25 still remains the highest in recent time.
Plateau State overtakes to lead with 22 new cases. FCT follows with a record of 21 new cases. Rivers State follows with a record of 12 new cases.

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control said the record of 65 new COVID-19 infections increased the number of infections in the country. Nigeria has now recorded 212,894.
The total number of deaths is currently 2, 922.
Active cases:Â 5297.
However, the NCDC reports a record of 204,675 COVID-19 patients who have recovered and have been discharged.

The health agency said the 65 new COVID-19 infections have brought the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country to 212,894.
Again, the agency has lauded the activities of the National Emergency Operations Centre.
It added that a multi-sectoral National Emergency Operations Centre activated at Level 2 had coordinated the national response.
